Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along an assigned route in a safe and timely manner.
- Sort and organize mail prior to delivery to ensure efficiency.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for important items.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve issues and answer inquiries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of outgoing mail and bulk mailings.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must pass a background check and a drug screen.
