Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official municipal records, ordinances, and resolutions
- Oversee election administration processes and voter registration compliance
- Provide notary public services and administer oaths for official documents
- Coordinate public information requests and ensure transparency in government operations
- Prepare and distribute City Council meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting materials
- Manage records retention schedules and document destruction protocols
- Serve as the primary liaison between citizens and municipal government services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency with records management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Nebraska election laws and municipal governance
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Notary public certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
