Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official municipal records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Oversee public information requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Provide administrative support to City Council and other governing bodies
- Authenticate official documents with municipal seals and signatures
- Develop and implement records management systems for digital and physical archives
- Serve as the primary liaison between citizens and municipal government services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in municipal records management or public sector administration
- Proficiency in records management software and digital archiving systems
- Deep understanding of Pennsylvania Sunshine Act and public record regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment
- Certification in Municipal Clerkship (preferred)
