Responsibilities
- Oversee all city elections and voter registration processes
- Maintain and certify official municipal records and legislative documents
- Provide procedural guidance to City Council and public bodies
- Manage public records requests and document accessibility
- Administer oaths of office and public notary services
- Develop records management policies and digital archiving systems
- Coordinate with county/state election officials for compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 5+ years municipal government or records management experience
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of California election laws (Elections Code)
- Expertise in public records management (CPRA compliance)
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
