Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve all official municipal records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Oversee public records requests in compliance with Nebraska's Open Records Law
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seals and documents
- Coordinate election processes and voter registration services
- Provide administrative support to the City Council and mayoral office
- Ensure compliance with state and federal record retention policies
- Lead public information dissemination through digital and physical channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal or government administrative experience
- Proficiency with records management systems and document automation
- Deep knowledge of Nebraska Sunshine Laws and municipal governance
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
