Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, documents, and archives with meticulous attention to compliance
- Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and official documentation for City Council meetings
- Administer municipal elections, voter registration, and local ballot measures
- Oversee public records requests and ensure timely, accurate responses
- Coordinate public notices, legal advertisements, and municipal publications
- Provide administrative support to the City Council and related boards/commissions
- Authenticate official documents through notarization and certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Expert knowledge of California Government Code and election procedures
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems and document automation
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid California driver's license
