Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes with precision and confidentiality
- Oversee municipal elections processes, including voter registration and ballot coordination
- Administer public records requests while ensuring compliance with Florida Sunshine Laws
- Coordinate city council agendas, public hearings, and official documentation
- Maintain municipal archives and digitize historical records for accessibility
- Serve as the official custodian of the city seal and legal documents
- Facilitate public access to government information through digital and physical channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in municipal records management or government administration
- Expertise in Florida public records laws and Sunshine Act compliance
- Proficiency in records management software and document digitization systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error documentation standards
- Strong written communication skills for drafting official resolutions and reports
- Professional certification in Municipal Clerk (MMC) preferred
