Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with archival precision
- Oversee municipal elections and voter registration compliance
- Administer oaths of office and public document certifications
- Coordinate public records requests and FOIA compliance
- Prepare agendas and support legislative processes for Metro Council
- Maintain city charter and municipal code updates
- Lead public-facing counter services for citizen inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 5+ years municipal government or records management experience
- Notary Public certification in Kentucky
- Proficiency in records management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Deep knowledge of Kentucky election laws and KRS Chapter 61A
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience with public meeting software and digital archiving
