Responsibilities

- Manage business licensing and permitting documentation
- Facilitate interdepartmental record-keeping protocols
- Advise elected officials on statutory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal/government records management experience
- Texas Municipal Clerk Certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Expert knowledge of Texas open records laws and Sunshine Act
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and public presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
