- Maintain and certify all official city records, ordinances, and minutes
- Oversee public records requests and information disclosure procedures
- Manage municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Administer oaths of office and notarial services for city officials
- Coordinate city council meetings and legislative tracking
- Ensure compliance with Texas open records laws and municipal codes
- Lead records management digitization and archival programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Texas Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expertise in open records laws and municipal governance protocols
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems and document automation
- Exceptional written communication and public interaction skills
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
