- Oversee maintenance of all official city records, ordinances, and resolutions with meticulous accuracy
- Coordinate and document City Council meetings, ensuring compliance with open meeting laws
- Manage public records requests and digital archives with secure, efficient protocols
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration programs
- Lead records digitization initiatives to enhance public accessibility
- Develop and implement records retention policies aligned with state regulations
- Serve as primary liaison between public and governmental bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal records management experience
- Expertise in Texas Public Information Act and Open Meetings Act
- Advanced proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Proven ability to manage complex public records workflows
- Certification in Municipal Clerk (CMC) or Records Management preferred
- Exceptional written communication and public presentation skills
- Experience with election administration processes
