Responsibilities
- Record Management: Maintain and organize official city documents, meeting minutes, and correspondence with the highest level of accuracy.
- Public Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for citizens and visitors, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, take detailed minutes during City Council and Board meetings, and distribute materials to stakeholders.
- Data Entry: Process incoming applications, permits, and reports using government database systems and office software.
- Office Operations: Manage office supplies, coordinate with vendors, and assist in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative processes adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Paralegal Studies is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role within a government or corporate environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management software.
