Responsibilities
- Oversee all municipal records management, including document preservation and FOIA compliance
- Administer city elections and voter registration programs
- Manage liquor licensing, business permits, and municipal filings
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and official documentation for Common Council meetings
- Serve as custodian of the city seal and official documents
- Lead public records requests and data transparency initiatives
- Coordinate with county and state election authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years municipal government or records management experience
- Wisconsin Election Administrator certification preferred
- Expertise in records retention policies and FOIA regulations
- Advanced proficiency with municipal record-keeping systems
- Strong written/verbal communication and public presentation skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity
