Responsibilities
- Oversee official city records management, ensuring compliance with Colorado open records laws
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration programs
- Prepare and certify official documents including ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Manage the city's legislative tracking system and public records request process
- Provide administrative support to Denver City Council meetings and committees
- Develop records retention policies and digital archiving solutions
- Act as custodian of the city seal and official documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in government records management or municipal administration
- Expert knowledge of Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) and election procedures
- Proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, DocuWare)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written communication and public interaction abilities
- Valid Colorado driver's license
