Responsibilities
- Oversee official city records, document preservation, and public information requests
- Manage municipal elections, voter registration, and ballot preparation
- Prepare and certify official city documents including ordinances and minutes
- Serve as clerk to the City Council and support public meeting compliance
- Implement records management systems and ensure legal compliance
- Lead public records requests and FOIA response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 5+ years municipal government or records management experience
- Arizona Notary Public certification required
- Expertise in records retention schedules and digital archiving
- Proficiency in municipal software (e.g., Tyler Munis, CivicPlus)
- Advanced knowledge of Arizona Open Meeting Laws and election procedures
- Exceptional written communication and public presentation skills
