Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on city infrastructure including sidewalks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate and maintain light equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools)
- Assist in park beautification, landscaping, and tree trimming projects
- Respond to citizen service requests and report maintenance issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, construction, or maintenance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical examination
