Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, ordinances, and council documentation with meticulous accuracy
- Oversee municipal elections, voter registration, and polling place coordination
- Administer oaths, licenses, permits, and official city certifications
- Serve as custodian of city seal and legal documents
- Coordinate with city departments, state agencies, and the public for record requests
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council meetings and public hearings
- Implement records management systems ensuring compliance with state statutes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in municipal records management or government administration
- Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Wisconsin Notary Public certification required
- Deep knowledge of Wisconsin election law and municipal statutes
- Exceptional written communication and public interaction skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality
- Experience managing budgets and administrative processes
