Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, documents, and archives with the highest level of accuracy.
- Process incoming applications, permits, and forms efficiently using our digital filing systems.
- Assist the public with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing clear and courteous information.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and correspondence for City Council and departmental meetings.
- Operate standard office equipment, including scanners, copiers, and multi-line telephones.
- Perform data entry tasks to update departmental databases and track municipal statistics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (if applicable).
