Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise the activities of inmates to ensure safety and order.
- Enforce institutional rules, regulations, and policies consistently and fairly.
- Conduct head counts, searches, and security checks to prevent contraband.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, altercations, or medical emergencies.
- Document incidents, observations, and inmate behavior accurately.
- Participate in training programs to enhance security and intervention skills.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for citizenship.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background investigation, drug screen, and physical agility test.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- No felony convictions or domestic violence restraining orders.
