Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate first responders
- Maintain detailed incident logs and computer-aided dispatch records
- Provide critical information to officers and other emergency personnel
- Utilize CAD software for efficient resource deployment
- Remain calm and professional during high-stress situations
- Follow all department policies and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 40+ WPM (will be tested)
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
