Responsibilities
- Maintain security and order within correctional facilities during night hours
- Conduct regular inmate counts and facility inspections
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to incidents promptly
- Enforce facility rules and document all incidents accurately
- Provide emergency response and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement and medical teams
- Complete detailed shift reports and maintain documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Basic computer literacy and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- U.S. citizenship required
