Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and maintain detailed incident reports in CAD systems
- Provide critical information to officers in the field during active incidents
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to department protocols
- Participate in continuous training to enhance dispatching skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience handling high-pressure situations preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Must be 18+ years old and a US citizen
