Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and security inspections to prevent contraband access
- Respond to emergencies including medical incidents, disturbances, and security breaches
- Document daily incidents and maintain accurate activity logs for compliance reporting
- Transport inmates between facilities while maintaining custody and safety standards
- Participate in training programs to update on correctional techniques and legal requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass rigorous background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
