Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze local health data to identify trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Coordinate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Lead outreach initiatives including health screenings, vaccination campaigns, and educational workshops
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and health metrics for county leadership
- Stay current on public health regulations and emerging health threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Tableau)
- Strong bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with community-based participatory research methods
