Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Coordinate with city agencies to deploy health resources during emergencies
- Conduct community outreach to enhance health literacy and access
- Manage grant-funded public health programs and ensure compliance
- Prepare reports for city council and state health departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years experience in government/public health administration
- Certification in Emergency Management (CEM or equivalent)
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and CA public health regulations
- Experience with grant writing and program evaluation
