Responsibilities
- Lead inter-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement rapid mitigation strategies for infectious disease outbreaks
- Coordinate with FEMA, CDC, and state health departments for resource deployment
- Conduct community risk assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Train public health staff in emergency protocols and crisis communication
- Monitor health data trends to predict and prevent emerging threats
- Manage emergency supply chains and PPE distribution networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health crisis response or disaster coordination
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage multi-agency partnerships under pressure
- Advanced data analysis skills for health trend forecasting
- Fluency in English/Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to work 24/7 during emergencies
