Responsibilities
- Process and file legal documents including petitions, motions, and court orders with precision
- Manage court calendars, hearings, and trial dockets using judicial software systems
- Provide in-person and phone assistance to attorneys, litigants, and court visitors
- Maintain confidential case records and ensure compliance with retention policies
- Collect fees, fines, and payments while maintaining accurate financial records
- Coordinate with judges, attorneys, and law enforcement agencies for case proceedings
- Prepare certified copies of court documents and official transcripts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative/clerical experience in legal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and court management software
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in record-keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse interactions
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania court procedures and legal terminology
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
