Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems and applications.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, antivirus, and access management policies.
- Prepare and present security compliance reports to stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure deployment of new technologies and cloud services.
- Provide security awareness training to staff members to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network security or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or NIST frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
