Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for state systems.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and firewalls.
- Manage access controls and user authentication processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, or CISM preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms.
