Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level cybersecurity frameworks and protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Monitor security infrastructure using SIEM tools and respond to incidents
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate with federal law enforcement
- Provide cybersecurity training to federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DHS security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment
- Knowledge of federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST, CMMC)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
