Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified government systems
- Develop incident response protocols for cybersecurity breaches affecting federal infrastructure
- Collaborate with NCIS, FBI, and other federal agencies on joint cybersecurity operations
- Train federal personnel on security best practices and threat awareness
- Manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platforms for real-time threat analysis
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in network security, ethical hacking, or incident response
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in NIST frameworks and federal compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability Determination
