Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures for classified DoD systems
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments across network infrastructure
- Respond to security incidents with rapid containment and forensic analysis
- Develop and execute security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DoD cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into system development lifecycles
- Monitor threat intelligence and emerging cyber risks to preempt attacks
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance roles
- Advanced knowledge of network security protocols and threat detection systems
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) strongly preferred
- Experience with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, penetration testing, and incident response methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to document complex security procedures
