Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop incident response protocols for cybersecurity breaches
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and CUI security requirements
- Mandate security awareness training for federal personnel
- Manage identity and access control systems (IAM)
- Generate quarterly cybersecurity performance reports for leadership
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of federal IT security experience
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications
- Expertise in AWS/GCP cloud security architectures
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) experience
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
