Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations for federal systems and networks
- Develop and implement advanced security protocols and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to coordinate cybersecurity initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive security reports and executive briefings
- Maintain compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security, cloud security, and incident response
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
