Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to ensure the safety and security of federal personnel and facilities.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, parking lots, and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and activity logs accurately and promptly.
- Respond immediately to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and federal agencies during critical incidents.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while enforcing rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols on foot.
