Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Lead the creation and execution of the 2026 Technology Roadmap, aligning technical initiatives with business goals.
- Pioneering Innovation: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Neural Interfaces) for integration into core products.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering team focused on high-impact projects.
- Architecture Governance: Establish architectural standards and best practices to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for new initiatives.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee research and development labs to prototype next-generation solutions ahead of market trends.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Engineering Director).
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices architecture, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Future-Forward Mindset: Demonstrated ability to predict and prepare for technological shifts, specifically regarding the 2026 digital landscape.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing diverse, high-performing teams across different time zones.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
