Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and standard mail.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain accurate electronic and physical records.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining department calendars.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Provide general support to department staff and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
- File documents according to established government protocols and policies.
- Assist in the organization of departmental events and community outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a standard background check.
