Responsibilities
- Manage Office Operations: Oversee the daily flow of incoming correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and mail, ensuring timely responses.
- Document Management: Draft, edit, and format official correspondence, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed minutes for departmental sessions.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems; assist in compiling and updating statistical data.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and constituents, providing courteous and professional service.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced government setting.
- Background: No prior government experience required; we train qualified candidates.
