Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming inquiries via phone and email with a focus on customer service and accuracy.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records in accordance with government compliance standards.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute meeting materials, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist with the coordination of city events and community outreach initiatives.
- Review and process applications and documentation for completeness and adherence to protocols.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create spreadsheets, documents, and schedules.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in an office environment, data entry, or customer service is a plus but not required for this entry-level role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer navigation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive government information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
