Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records for federal programs.
- Sort, distribute, and log incoming mail and correspondence to ensure timely delivery to appropriate departments.
- Assist senior staff with organizing meetings, preparing presentations, and compiling statistical reports.
- Answer incoming phone lines and direct inquiries to the correct agency personnel professionally.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and coordinate with vendors for procurement needs.
- Support the preparation of travel vouchers and expense reports for agency employees.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and fingerprinting process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
