Responsibilities
- Perform routine clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and sorting incoming mail.
- Answer multi-line telephones and respond to inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist senior staff with preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of office files and databases.
- Prepare and distribute internal memos and departmental updates.
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and conducive to productivity.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for all federal positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic typing skills with a minimum of 35 words per minute.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Must be willing to undergo a federal background investigation and drug screening.
