Responsibilities
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for federal documents and correspondence.
- Data Entry: Perform routine data entry tasks ensuring 99% accuracy in digital records and databases.
- Front Desk Support: Greet visitors, answer multi-line telephones, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
- Administrative Assistance: Support senior staff with scheduling, photocopying, and preparing meeting materials.
- Compliance Support: Assist in preparing reports and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and office protocols.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and log office supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate's degree or higher is a plus.
- Experience: No prior federal experience is required. General office or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold permanent resident status eligible for federal employment.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic typing skills (40+ WPM).
- Background: Must be able to pass a federal background check and security clearance screening.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
