Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official federal records, databases, and filing systems with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate complex scheduling for executive staff including meetings, travel arrangements, and conference logistics
- Prepare and process confidential correspondence, reports, and executive communications
- Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely responses
- Monitor and track departmental budgets, expenditures, and procurement requests
- Support HR functions including onboarding, records management, and compliance documentation
- Implement and improve administrative workflows to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive administrative experience in a federal/government setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and federal systems like GSA
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days
- Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) and administrative procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
