Responsibilities
- Manage official documentation, records, and filing systems ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for department leadership
- Process personnel actions, timekeeping, and leave requests using federal systems
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders
- Support budget tracking, procurement processes, and property accountability
- Act as primary liaison between staff and external agencies
- Maintain security protocols for classified and sensitive information
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases (e.g., HRIS, GSA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA policies)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities
- Associates degree in Business Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
