Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone and email, directing them to the appropriate departments efficiently.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and physical records in government databases.
- Assist in preparing reports, memos, and correspondence for senior staff.
- Greet visitors and provide orientation to the facility while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, reserve conference rooms, and arrange catering when necessary.
- Perform routine office administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist in the preparation of travel vouchers and expense reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework in business administration or public service is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn and a willingness to undergo federal background checks and security clearances.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Basic computer literacy and typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
