Responsibilities
- Perform High-Velocity Data Entry: Accurately input, update, and maintain confidential records and databases using county software systems.
- Customer Service & Public Assistance: Greet visitors, answer multi-line telephones, and provide information regarding county programs and services.
- Document Management: File, organize, and retrieve physical and digital files in accordance with strict archival standards.
- Office Support: Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and meeting materials using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Assist various county departments with clerical tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and government regulations during daily operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: No prior government experience is necessary; we train motivated candidates.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately with a high degree of concentration.
