Responsibilities
- Perform Accurate Data Entry: Input and maintain sensitive government records and databases with high precision and confidentiality.
- Customer Service Support: Greet visitors, answer multi-line phone systems, and assist the public with inquiries regarding government services.
- Document Management: Organize, file, and retrieve physical and digital documents in compliance with state regulations.
- Administrative Assistance: Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting materials for department supervisors.
- Office Operations: Manage office supplies, operate printers/scanners, and coordinate internal communications.
- Process Handling: Process incoming mail, applications, and paperwork according to established government protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; some college coursework is a plus.
- Experience: No prior government or professional experience is required. We are looking for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with the public and staff.
- Character: Must be a U.S. citizen and pass a background check.
- Attitude: Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a professional work ethic.
