Responsibilities
- Process Pension Applications: Review and process incoming pension benefit requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Data Management: Maintain and update accurate records within the pension database, handling sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional service to retirees and beneficiaries via phone and email, answering inquiries regarding eligibility and status.
- Compliance Auditing: Assist in internal audits to ensure all pension transactions adhere to federal and state laws.
- Documentation: Prepare and file necessary paperwork for pension disbursements and claims.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
