Responsibilities
- Manage and Organize Records: Maintain accurate physical and digital filing systems for state documents.
- Assist the Public: Greet visitors, answer telephone inquiries, and direct them to the correct departments.
- Data Entry: Input and verify information into state databases and record-keeping software.
- Document Processing: Review, sort, and prepare documents for archiving or distribution.
- Office Support: Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and mail processing.
- Compliance: Ensure all records are handled in accordance with state privacy and security policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and attitude over history.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy when handling sensitive information and data entry tasks.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
