Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for the public, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist visitors with the completion of forms, applications, and documentation related to city services.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate, organized records of daily transactions.
- Collaborate with senior staff to resolve complex customer issues and route inquiries appropriately.
- Ensure the reception area and office spaces are maintained to a professional standard.
- Update and manage internal databases with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid Texas Driver's License is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the public sector.
